Hi, I’m Josie — the person behind Binksy Crystals.

I started this shop back in 2015, named after my son’s nickname, and it’s quietly evolved with us over these past years.

How It Started

It began with going back to something I loved as a teen — making friendship bracelets. You know the ones… sitting in school when we were meant to be doing other things, just knotting away and pretending to listen 😅 That turned into discovering macramé and making beaded bracelets, and then naturally circling back to my love of crystals.

I’ve also dabbled in a few other styles over the years — metal stamping, wire wrapping, necklaces, earrings… basically a bit of creative exploring (in true ADHD fashion 😅).

How It's Going

A few years ago, I started teaching myself Procreate, mostly for fun, and earlier this year I ended up falling into creating little illustrated cards. They fit perfectly alongside the bracelets - especially since people often like adding a note or message with their orders.

 

Outside of Binksy Crystals

I’m usually reading something that will emotionally ruin me (hello Rhysand and Xaden - IYKYK 👀), watching movies and tv series, or gaming when I get a chance. 

Binksy Crystals is a small, evolving shop built around things I genuinely enjoy making - nothing mass-produced, just pieces created slowly and with care.

And honestly, the support behind it is what keeps it going. It’s still a tiny dream in progress, but one I really care about.
